Bioinformatics and Translational Research

Christina is a PhD student in the Bioinformatics & Translational Research Team. She studied Bioinformatics at Free University of Berlin.

Her project focuses on pangenomics, aiming to compare existing typing schemes for Bacteria and to combine pangenome graphs and cgMLST to improve the strain typing. Before, she worked on a project about variant detection and risk assessment for SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza viruses.
